No human medicine: Unfortunately is is not in the scope of this forum to provide veterinay answers. What i can tell you is that many "human" medications can kill a dog . You need to take him to a emergency pet hospital asap because of his breathing, it sounds like he is having labored breathing and he is also a "senior " pooch. Good luck to both of you
