Check a HPT: Every woman experiences some change/irregularity in her period at time, especially with illness, medication use, stress, rapid weight loss, endocrine disorder such as thyroid diseases etc. Pregnancy is one reason to miss period and so doing a home pregnancy test can quickly and reliably tell. If negative, recheck in 3-5 days. If pos, congrats. If you are still concnerned, consult doc. Good luck.
