Alopecia=Hair loss: The most common cause would be a thyroid prolems, but hair loss can be associated with connective tissue diseases like lupus, fungal infections of the scalp or bowel disease: simple malnutition, celiac disease. People with OCD will lose hair and radiation or chemotherapy can cause hair loss. Less likely conditions include addison's disease and syphillis.
