What ashame: Your dad was given a second chance. There are fewer liver transplant donors than there are potential recipients. What ashame if he is indeed not caring for his new liver by drinking alcohol heavily--a liver that could have been lifesaving for someone who might have better cared for it. Express to him your concern, ask to accompany him to his liver clinic, & get his permission to recruit their help.
