Im having pain in the shoulder blade area up into neck and head on right side, what could it be and should i be concerned?

Sounds like a nerve: A pinched nerve may give you the symptoms you are experiencing. Other things can cause pain like this may come from reffered pain . Sometimes gallbladder problems can radiate to the right shoulder. A thorough history and physical will point your doctor in the right direction. A cat scan of the cervical spine and rt shoulder may help. An emg/nct study of the rt upper extremity may be required.
