Some: Oxycontin= long acting form of oxycodone dosed every 12 hours hydrocodone= only available as a combination medication with most commonly Acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Vicodin= hydrocodone/acetominophen combination dosed every 4-6 hours as needed. These are all opioids with similar side effects. Oxycodone is a little stronger than hydrocodone.
