A member asked:

What are the health risks associated with oral contraceptives?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Minimal: Main risks are blood clots in the leg or lung and stroke. All very very uncommon. Main benefits are good, safe, reliable contraception, shorter/lighter periods, less pms and cramping, regular menses, reduced ovary and uterine cancer, less anemia. ....Overall benefits far outweigh the risks.
