No it will not: Taking Insulin to control your blood sugar is important and it will not be bad for your baby, you need to control your diabetes as uncontrolled diabetes can be harmful for the baby.

No: Any you take does not cross the placenta. Baby makes its own. If you don't have good glucose control it will hurt the baby, since it must find a way to deal with your excesses. High blood glucose levels will force baby to store the excess, can cause birth defects & problems at delivery.
