which type of cancer is the most common for people to get?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Barry Rosen
33 years experience General Surgery
In the US...: ...In men: prostate, lung, colorectal, and bladder cancer are most common. ...In women: breast, lung, colorectal, and uterine cancer are most common. The sad reality is that, if you live long enough, there is a 1 in 3 chance that you will develop cancer.

Agree with Dr. Rosen in the list of lethal cancers, though skin cancers are commoner but not as lethal.
