Biopsy: A ct scan or chest X-ray can show the tumor and / the fluid caused by mesothelioma. A biopsy of the tumor can confirm mesothelioma.

Imaging & biopsy: If suspecting mesothelioma, a chest or abdomen ct scan to see if any pleural or peritoneal tumors are present. Then biopsy, usually surgical biopsy.
