A member asked:

Is it true that anti-inflammatories suppress antibodies for autoimmune diseases or lyme disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not usually : The most common anti-inflammatories are nsaids and these are not considered immunosuppressive's. Corticosteroids may have somewhat of an immunosuppressive effect. And biologics which are used for autoimmune disease but not lyme disease can be immunosuppressive ad well as anti-inflammatory.
