Very unlikely: There is no specific treatment for Down syndrome per se, only for associated anomalies, i.e., cardiac defect.

Confusing question: DS is a condition where the cells in the body have an extra chromosome (CS) which interferes with how each cell works. A minor % of DS cases have some normal cells but the chromosomes act as each cells computer.Only something that cancelled out just the extra CS could fix the problem and that is beyond the scope of present scientific capabilities.

Misunderstand genes?: No. There is no such treatment. Down a Syndrome is a phenomenon at the very level of the chromosomes in the affected individual. There is no way to remove the extra chromosome or to return the individual to a more common appearance. These very special humans have a lot to offer us just as they are.
