None: No one should be "forced" to have a pelvic examination. However, it is recommended to have yearly exams to evaluate for conditions you would not normally find on your own such as prolapse ( dropping of organs), growths, masses, skin/mucosal disease, abnormal discharge, periodic cancer screening... If these exams are uncomfortable for you please communicate this to your doctor. He/she can address
