Same thing-almost: You call any hemp marijuana and the two words can be synonomous. Some are growing hemp on farms for industrial uses in other countries to make from industrial grade hemp all sorts of products from rope to textiles to biodiesel fuel. Industrial hemp is meant to have only minimal and no real psycogenic effects. It has hardly any thc. As it's controversial it remains illegal in the usa.
