Yes: You need to see your family doctor and have them write you a mental health plan. Tell the, you want to see a Psychologist and that’s it. There will be a co-pay of about $20. They also can’t prescribe drugs. Psychiatrists prescribe medicines and they are covered by Medicare and only need a referral.
