High blood sugar: If your daughter has high blood sugar, she might be drinking and urinating a lot, even overnight. She needs urgent medical attention. Most 9 year old kids with high blood sugar have type 1 diabetes. Delaying such a diagnosis could result in diabetic ketoacidosis, a medical emergency due to metabolic decompensation. This could happen quickly so please take her to her doctor asap.
