Comprehensively. : As the prevalence of drug-resistant bacteria increases, we must do what we can to protect our patients from cross-contamination. All care areas must be swabbed to identify pathogenic bacteria. All hygiene & cleaning procedures must be reviewed. All sterilization equipment must be audited. Antibiotics must be chosen judiciously based on local resistance patterns. Ongoing surveillance is essential.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
