Adverse events: The most commonly observed adverse events associated with Abilify (aripiprazole) (reported by 5% or more of Abilify (aripiprazole) patients and more than twice as often as placebo patients) were an inner sense of restlessness or need to move (akathisia), sleepiness, tremors, restlessness, and extrapyramidal disorder (such as shakes, muscle stiffness, or other involuntary movements).

Here are other possible side effects: anxiety, agitation, sedation, restlessness, insomnia, lightheadedness, confusion, apathy, depersonalization, amnesia, blunted affect, vertigo, impaired memory, mania, delirium, Neuroleptic malignant syndrome, ^ blood sugar levels, ^ cholesterol & triglycerides, tardive dyskinesia, v white blood cells, seizures, low blood pressure.
