Genetic: These are areas where there is more pigment. This is usually an inherited eruption. This could also be areas where there may be bleeding into the skin

Aging spots: These are typical normal aging spots located on the bottom due to small blood vessel capillary trauma over time. This is usually prevalent with diabetics, etc... If the spots are new and or itch or become raised, you need to see your podiatrist right away.
