Is a gi test the same as haveing a colonoscopy test

Not really: Gi test can include colonoscopy. It includes a whole gamut of testing. Colonoscopy, endoscopy, barium enema, barium swallow are some of them.

Hello Doctors, For 9 weeks I have had abnormal stool. The first stool had white thick 3D fibers coming out, almost like sesame seeds. I still have micro white 3D fibers. 4 Ova¶ test came back neg & colonoscopy was Neg. GI doc is baffled. Ideas?
