Usually time: This condition is usually better over time but that can be months. Avoid sitting especially on a hard surface or for prolonged periods of time. Use a doughnut style pillow when sitting to take pressure off that region. If the pain is severe get it checked to make sure there is no other issue causing the pain in this region. Medication can help.
