Diet or supplement: Calcium is present in a number of non bovine products. Goat's milk, feta cheese, fortified orange juice, other milk substitutes, etc. It is also readily as a straight calcium pill, often sold with vitamin d added. Another simple source is "tums" that has calcium in its antacid tablets.

Besides supplements: Try other types of milk that are fortified such as soy or almond. Calcium fortified orange juice. Firm tofu. Almond ( 1oz) has 70mg. Collard greens 1 cup 350 mg black eyed peas (1cup 200mg) keep in mind u need about 1000 to 1400 mg calcium. If you take supplement make sure they come from a food source such as soy or algae or vegetables. The absorption is best when the supplement is from real food.
