Honey Wounds: Honey products have been used for centuries. There are several medicinal honey products on the market today. Using store bought honey is frowned upon by the medical profession due to the variability of the products available to the consumer and sterility issues. The medicinal products work as well in many cases as the myriad of other products on the market but have no specific benefit.

No but may keep clea: Honey does not increase wound healing speed, but it does keep bacteria from growing in the wound and may decrease the likelihood of infection.
