My hands turn red when hanging down by my side. when i raise them above heart they are normal but when i put them down again they turn beat red.?

Usually normal: This is normal in most people and just reflects the effects of gravity. Excessively red palms, known as palmar erythema, can be a sign of liver disease or other metabolic problems. Have your doctor check you out to be sure!

Sounds vascular: Patients with blocked leg arteries have dependent rubror, red skin when dangling, never heard of it in upper extremity but it could be possible.
