About an hour ago i started to get sharp pains on my left side above the public bone. at times the pain has brought me to tears. what could it be?

Lots of possibilitie: Severe pain needs to be evaluated by a doctor right away. We are so many possibilities. Bladder infection, ovarian cyst, gas pain, bowel dysfunction, appendicitis, diverticulitis would all be possibilities.
