Please see physician: From your message, you have a very complicated substance abuse problem including both methamphetamine and opiates. Your best path would be to see a psychiatrist who is also certified in addiction medicine. You can search for your locale at: www.Abam.Net/find-a-doctor.

Meth?: I don't quite understand if you mean Methadone or methamphetamine-(crystal meth)? If you mean crystal meth, i also don't understand how you're taking 125mgs as it doesn't come in doses like that, unless you are referring to an eighth of one gram. Suboxone is used for opiate addiction. Crystal meth is not an opiate. If you mean methadone, you must be off of it first, or Suboxone causes withdrawal.

Taper methadone 1st: Taper Methadone to 30-40 mg per day through your provider or clinic. Meanwhile, find a Suboxone provider and set up an appointment to go through an induction onto suboxone. You will need to be off Methadone for 2-3 days before starting suboxone. Your Suboxone provider can give you more details.

Taper to 30 mg: The guidelines suggest that the highest dose of Suboxone is about the same as 30mg of methadone. Therefore, you need to get yourself down to 30mg and feel well at that dose for at least 1 week. I have not had much success when patients taper down to 30mg and then try to switch to Suboxone when they feel like they're in withdrawal even though they're getting 30mg. It's tougher than you think.
