I have swimmer's ear, and i used a q-tip to try and get the water out of my ear. now it feels blocked, will i have hearing loss?

Uncertain: See your fp or an ENT specialist to examine ear & make sure you haven't perforated the eardrum. Doc can offer treatment either way. In future, keep q-tips out of the ear canals; use them only for the outer ear. Doc can also suggest treatment for swimmer's ear in the future.

Otitis externa: You may have debris which needs to be cleared, usually you should have problem hearing. You may also need an antibiotic.See your ent.
