Unlikely : A sharp pain above the left breast that hurts when you touch it is not by itself a sign of a heart attack. Such pains usually have a local cause - infection, inflammation, or trauma to the area are common causes. Costochondritis, a benign inflammation of the cartilage joints on your ribs can also cause this symptom.

Atypical: Generally heart attacks occur with dull pain or pressure which usually doesn't change with palpation (touching). Of course only a full eval including ekg and blood work can rule out a heart attack.
