Hypoactive desire: a decrease in desire is common as female sex hormones begin to wane. Perimenopausal women tend not to sleep well which is a contributing factor. Testosterone peaks at ovulation so when ovulation stops or is irregular that natural urge may suffer. Vaginal dryness comes with decreasing estrogen levels and makes intercouse more difficult. All can be corrected with treatment - see your doctor.
