Dr. Robert Kassoff

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist with over 32 years experience delivering psycho-therapeutic services to Adults, Adolescents and children. I am skilled in performing and interpreting data-based psychological, psychoeducational and forensic examinations in matters of child custody, personal injury, criminal, medical malpractice, post-trauma, Article 81 Incapacitation (incompetency), Committee on Special Education hearings and educational litigation, etc. I have been an invited lecturer to various Bar Associations, New York State Supreme Court Justices, Major Corporations, Public Utilities, School District Clinical Personnel, The New York State Court of Appeals, Hospitals, Parents Groups and Students. I have given seminars and lectures in the areas of Human Sexuality, Stress Management, Family Issues, Adolescent Development, Couples Issues, Clinical Treatment of Adults, Families, Adolescents and Children, Article 81 Incapacitation, Judicial Programs, Continuing Legal Education (CLE), and the design and implementation of psychological/clinical research. I have chaired the IRB for Human Research within an institutional setting. I have extensive experience in forensics, stress management/mind-body connection, pediatrics, special education, and being both consumer, and critic of tests and measurement statistics research design.
