A member asked:

How's egg and ovarian tissue freezing done and how does that affect any embryo born?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low temperature: When eggs, fertilized or not, are frozen, the components are protected from ice crystal formation by the rapidity of the freeze. Dna, however, is very resistant to damage by this process as it is extremely stable so the effects on the future embryo are unlikely.
