Several options.: Prolapse can be treated with a pessary or with surgery. It only needs to be treated if you are having problematic symptoms. A pessary is a device that is usually made of a rubbery material of varying shapes that is inserted into the vagina to support the parts that are dropping. Their are many surgical options depending on what parts are dropping.
