Parenting: A child with a behavioral problem is a difficult situation for all involved, specially the child.Just as a tree sometimes grows crooked, a child behavior deviates from normal, a small twig is easy to replant, a young child is easy to correct...In other words seek help from a behavioral specialist asap.

Tell him what be-: haviors you want, the reward of 30 minutes of media or electronics for compliance & the consequence of no TV/electronics that day for acting out. Remove media & electronics from his room & lock up TV remotes, etc. Ignore protests. Don't talk, argue, make eye contact or act angry. He'll act worse at 1st to try to get your old response, then stop when you calmly, consistently employ consequences.
