Fewer eggs: Women have a decline in their ovarian reserve over time. Women have additional concerns regarding the increased risk of genetic abnormalities over the age of 35. Therefore, as women age it becomes more difficult to conceive and therefore may be an increase in pregnancy loss or abnormalities in addition. Getting an amh level is very important for women to assess their ovarian reserve.
