Relaxed or tired: Propranolol is a non-selective beta blocker. That is it blocks the receptors that are activated by the beta agonist in our body, namely adrenaline. Common side effects are decrease in anxiety or fatigue. Many people use them to cut anxiety, like before speaking or doing an interview due to this calming of adrenaline effect. Not surprisingly, they are banned in the pga, used to cut the jitters.
