Is it normal to lose sensation in a leg after childbirth?

More likely in first pregnancies and prolonged 2nd stage of labor. Women with nerve injury spent more time pushing in the semi-fowler-lithotomy position than women without. Average duration of symptoms is usually ~2 months.
