Rectal Ca: May rarely progress and cause death quickly, but it usually presents in a highly treatable form (bleeding draws attention), therapy depends in closeness to anal/spincter muscles, invasion into/thru bowel wall, and nodes. Even with liver and lung metastasis, life can usuallybe prlonged. So quick death would be an exception and unusual.
