Salmonella infection: Possible Salmonella symptoms include: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (which may be bloody), musculoskeletal aches & pains, fever, chills & headaches. If Salmonella enters the blood stream it can cause endocarditis (infection involving heart), Osteomyelistis (bone infection) & infection of brain/ spinal cord (meningitis). Salmonella can sometimes be fatal.
