Depends: It depends on the symptoms. If the symptoms are due to a rhythm abnormality, particularly a slow rhythm abnormality a pacemaker may help. Certain types of pacemakers, called bi-ventricular or bi-v can be helpful in patients suffering from coingestive heart failure.
