Depends: Could be a hemorrhoid or a peri anal abscess. Both should be evaluated by a colorectal surgeon and given the appropriate treatment.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. A pilonidal cyst/abscess is one possibility.

Have no swelling. Only tenderness in left lower labia/ perineum area. No rectal pain. colonoscopy done. No abscess, fissure or fistula. CT scan with contrast showed heterogeneous uterus with several fibroids. Pap clean. Dr is stumped. Any guesses?
