Urgent consultation: Bluish discoloration (cyanosis) of the cheeks, lips, tongue or fingers is a serious sign and needs to be thoroughly investigated. Diseases of heart or lungs can cause cyanosis. Please see your pcp who after a history and exam would decide further action.
