See a doctor: Without examining and perhaps testing this, it is not possible to diagnose. Please see a doctor or perhaps a dentist and have this examined.

See your dentistASAP: You may have an abcess related to a tooth, or a gingival abcess, or possibly a blockage of a salivary gland which may need treatment as well. Best bet is to get to a provider to get it checked out. Best of luck.

See your dentist: Please go to the dentist asap. He or she will take x-rays to determine the source of the lesion. In my clinic, i would take x-rays to determine if it is tooth related and then treat the tooth. If not, i would see if it goes away on its own in a few weeks. If it does not resolve on its own, the lesion will need to be biopsied by the dentist or oral surgeon to make a definitive diagnosis.

The answer is...: Hard to tell without more history and a brief exam. It could be a simple pizza burn or a complex dental problem, and many things in between. Best to consult your dentist or family physician to get an accurate answer.
