In moderation: Alcohol in small amounts (1-2 drinks) is safe to consume for people with high blood pressure. Overindulging can cause medication side effects, worsening blood pressure, and is unhealthy in general.

Yes and no: Social drinking will not interfere with the med. You may actually find a low level of consumption can lower your blood pressure. Drink too much & you'll crash & die or kill someone. Hoe this helps.
