Good question: There is a general feeling of good will by doctors who answer questions on this forum. They are not paid but feel obligated to help people with problems. So most answers here are honest although there is some lack of depth due to the space limitations. Some of the questions are quite unusual and many are not medical. We always wish you would supply more information.
