Nail fungus see MD: Nail fungus can be successfully diagnosed and treated by your pcp, or dermatologist, and yes nail fungus in toes is treated by poditrists as well it is a difficult infection to cure and you need long term antifungal medicine like Lamisil (terbinafine) for 6 to 12 weeks and need to monitor liver functions and wbcs.
