Its causes problems: Alcoholic is actually not a medical term, however people in aa call themselves alcoholics because for some reason or another alcohol causes problems in their life, health, relationships, legal trouble. Maybe they were just done having it rule their lives, it kept them stuck, from realizing their dreams, maybe they were robbed of their mind, body and spirit. Unfortunately some never see this.
