Vaccinate!: Ivf patients should treat their bodies as if they are already pregnant. During flu season this means getting a flu shot. If you already have the flu, call your doctor. If it is severe it may be best to postpone the ivf. If you proceed, your doctor will likely recommend that you drink lots of water, get lots of rest and keep your temperature down with (usually with tylenol).
