Libido: Libido is determined by the amount of testosterone in your body. Testosterone is made primarily (90%) by the testicles while the remaining amount is made by the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands are located on top of the kidneys. Prostate removal should not affect libido but there is a risk of erectile dysfunction after surgery. Discuss those risks w your urologist.
