Yes, but...: Depending on the chemotherapy given, there may be times when the patient would be so immunocompromised that sex could increase the risk of infection. In addition, there are particular chemotherapy medicines that are secreted in bodily fluids as they are metabolized and cleared by the body; during these times, it may not be safe for the partner. Talk with your oncologist.
