Moisturize: Itching usually results from skin trauma with activation of small nerve fibers. If generalized, then dry skin usually to blame. Lower the heat when bathing, use fragrance-free and extract-free soaps that are gentle, and moisturize with non-alcohol containing product frequently. If this does not work, then a health screen may be indicated.
